This tea is produced in the Kagoshima area of Japan. This area is known for it’s mineral rich soil, thick mists acting as a shade to the tea plants and encouraging the production of a higher level of amino acids giving the tea a natural sweetness. A vast difference between day time and night time temperatures contributes to make this an extremely flavoursome tea.
